Aeterra Workspace Expands ESG Integration with EDCI

Aeterra is proud to announce that the Aeterra Workspace sustainability management system is now an official API submission participant of the ESG Data Convergence Initiative (EDCI). 

The EDCI is an industry-led initiative that benchmarks ESG data from the private investment industry, providing a data library with a critical mass of meaningful, performance-based, and comparable ESG data from private companies. Aeterra Workspace streamlines EDCI data collection and submission securely through the EDCI API.

The EDCI was launched in 2021 with the goal of providing a consistent and measured approach to ESG metric collection. Today, EDCI supports over 500 members that represent over ~$59T USD of assets under management (AUM) worldwide. The standardized data framework, industry-wide benchmarks, and annual reporting cycle allow firms to get a better understanding of where they are relative to their peers and adopt strategies to improve performance. According to Pitchbook, the EDCI is gaining traction for standardized ESG benchmarking.

Aeterra Workspace is an accessible digital platform that supports sustainability measurement, greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, and environmental health & safety (EHS) management. The system is designed for engagement across private equity portfolios and diverse companies. Data is easily imported into the system and organized into categories required by ESG frameworks, such as EDCI. Data can be sorted and analyzed by fund, company, region, or any category assigned by the user. Aeterra Workspace allows for smooth ESG data management to support long-term plans and goal setting.
